ডাক টিকেটের সন্ধানে

ডাকঘরে সর্বশেষ চিঠি পোষ্ট কবে পোষ্ট করেছিলেন এমন প্রশ্ন কাউকে করা হলে যে কারও কিছুক্ষন ভাবতে হবে।নিজেরপ্রশ্নে নিজেই আটকে গিয়েছিলাম। কোন ভাবেই মনে করতে পারিনি। পোষ্ট করার কথা ছেড়ে দিলাম। পরিক্ষার খাতা ছাড়া ব্যাক্তিগত চিঠি পত্র সর্বশেষ কবে লিখেছিলাম সেটাই কোন ভাবেই মনে করতে পারিনি। প্রায় সব কিছু তো এখন ইমেইল বা খুদেবার্তায় সেরে ফেলা যায়। আমাকে অবশ্য মাঝেসাঝে অফিসের কাজে কিছু চিঠিপত্র পাঠাতে হয়। কিন্তু সেগুলো সবই পাঠানো হয় কুরিয়ার সার্ভিসের মাধ্যমে যাতে প্রাপক খুব দ্রুতই চিঠি হাতে পায়। ডিজিটালাইজেশনের যুগে এই কুরিয়ার করার সংখ্যাও কমে আসছে। সরকারী পোষ্ট অফিসে তো আর যাওয়াই হয় না। আমার ধারনা পোষ্ট অফিস সঞ্চয় স্কিম বাদে আর কেউ যায়ও না। আর সরকারী দপ্তরগুলো ছাড়া আর কেউ ডাক সেবা ব্যবহার করে চিঠিপত্র পাঠায় না। Read more
